FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the online certificate the same as the on-campus one?

Yes. All GLIDE certificates are awarded under the Uganda Vocational Qualifications Framework through the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT), regardless of whether you studied online or on campus.

Do I have to come to campus at all?

Theory is fully online. Practical sessions are scheduled at GLIDE's campus or at designated partner centres. For purely academic short courses, no campus visit may be required.

How much does online learning cost?

Online programmes are more affordable than residential ones. Contact us for the current fee schedule per course. Some courses are eligible for scholarship support.

How do I pay?

Fees can be paid via bank deposit or mobile money. Details are provided upon acceptance.

What if I have no laptop, only a phone?

That's fine. The GLIDE e-learning platform is mobile-friendly. Most of our online learners study entirely on their smartphones.
