Our Story
The story of GLIDE is the story of the Countryside Innovations Network (CIN), a social enterprise incorporated in 2008 with a calling to reach out to the vulnerable. The quality of a nation depends on the quality of its people. Our passion is to drive transformation creatively, innovatively and in a systematic and collaborative manner using social and economic engagement models that interweave our efforts to bring the dare needed services, closer to communities.
GLIDE, an Industrial Training and Research Institute, is one of the CIN innovations developed for this purpose. GLIDE is an Incubation Centre, a vehicle and platform of choice to mold and convey transformative community training, action research, skilling, technology, innovation, partnerships and services to your target community.
GLIDE is accredited with the Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda, under the Directorate of Industrial Training (Reg No, UVQF/565).

Accreditation & Recognition
GLIDE is proudly accredited with the Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda, under the Directorate of Industrial Training (Reg No, UVQF/565). Our programs are implemented under the Uganda Vocational Qualifications framework, with certificates awarded by the Directorate of Industrial Training (DIT).
