GLIDE offers three main categories of courses:
- Modular Courses: Short, focused courses designed to provide specific competencies in various occupations.
- Full Occupational Courses: Comprehensive programs that equip trainees with all required knowledge and skills for specific occupations.
- Diploma Courses: Accredited diploma programs in areas such as Fashion & Apparel, Catering & Hotel Management, Cosmetology, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Information Technology, Agribusiness, and Aquaculture.
Admission requirements vary by program:
- Level 1 Certificate: PLE (Primary Leaving Examination)
- Level 2 Certificate: O-Level with at least five credits or UVQF Level 1
- Level 3 Certificate: UVQF Level 2 or related diploma
- Modular Courses: Open to all
You can apply in two ways:

- Physical: Pick up application forms at our coordination offices in Seeta or on campus in Butaleja, fill them in, and submit physically or email to info@glideafrica.org.
Application fee: 20,000/= Uganda Shillings (non-refundable).
GLIDE offers a practice-based, firm-based hands-on training and mentorship approach. This ensures that students gain practical experience and real-world skills that are immediately applicable in the workplace.
Yes, GLIDE is accredited with the Ministry of Education and Sports in Uganda, under the Directorate of Industrial Training (Reg No, UVQF/565). Our diploma programs are in the process of receiving accreditation from the National Council for Higher Education (NCHE).
