Financial support for deserving learners at Great Lakes Industrial Institute.
The GLIDE Scholarship Fund exists to ensure that no deserving learner is denied industry-driven skills training because of financial hardship. It is sustained entirely by partner organisations, foundations, corporate CSR programmes, government initiatives and individual sponsors who believe in the power of practical education.
Scholarships at GLIDE are awarded on the basis of merit, demonstrated financial need, and commitment to complete the training programme and contribute back to the community. Recipients may receive full or partial tuition support, tools and training materials, or a combination of both.
Are you an organisation looking to fund a scholarship? Visit our Sponsor a Learner page to see how your CSR, ESG or development goals can be directly met through GLIDE.
Each scholarship responds to a specific gap in access to skills training. Awards are announced every intake cycle.
